Had the mole burrito, perfect chocolate combo with a little spice. Their plates are A+ for being a food truck, and the burrito was a full meal. I could have easily stretched it into two meals. Also had the watermelon aqua Fresca, refreshing. I'll be going back again!

During our recent trip to Portland we were walking down Alberta and came across Chef Roberto's restaurant. Knowing nothing about the place we were expecting to walk up, grab a couple tacos, and be on our way. What ensued was an absolute delight of a surprise. We ended up ordering the Birria and Cochinita Pibil tacos. To our surprise we saw ceviche on the menu that day and added that. Had the story ended there we would have left happy as the food was exceptional and the flavors and quality were beyond anything we would have expected from a truck. While waiting for our order we had a chance to meet Chef Roberto and learn about his history and inspiration for the food and business. He later recommended we try the Tres Moles Enchiladas. Having grown up eating mole my whole life I had an ides of what to expect. Needless to say all three were incredible and the mole rojo was life changing. It brings a sense of pride to see how Chef Roberto is sharing our culture and our flavors with the Portland community. I cannot recommend visiting his family's establishment enough. Gracias por compartir su historia con nosotros y saludos desde Chicago.

Excellent food. Wonderful painted ceramic plates if you dine in the generous covered (and heated) outdoor area of this food pod. Call in your order ahead of time -- look for online pictures of the menu. We really like the portobello burrito, and things with the mole sauce. It does get crowded around 5:30pm on a weekday.

Mole Mole is a cute little food truck with soooo many offerings. I don't know how they can make all of them inside a truck! I had a birria taco and a big bowl of posole and both were really tasty and flavorful although the posole could have used more hominy. It did take 20+ minutes for the food to come out which was surprising because both of us ordered the posole and there weren't many orders in front of us. But I would return for another casual yet yummy meal.

Alright... time for another review after eating at this excellent place on this pleasant Saturday evening! Visiting Portland for the weekend and staying with my friend and he recommended we try this place, about a 30 minute bus ride to the 22nd and Food Carts. Wait time to order wasn't too bad... about 10-15 minutes. Seemed like the people in front of us were a little indecisive with their food orders...odd move to replace beans for queso man... The food took about 15-20 minutes which was really quick! Food was plated on these decorate plates as pictured! I ordered the "tres amigos burrito" and a mango aqua fresca, both of which were delicious. Will definitely came back here again; definitely some of the best Mexican i've had in the PNW! Thanks to my friend Billy for the sweet rec!

I got the tres enchiladas so that I could try the pink, brown and green mole sauces. The pink was pretty weak and I didn't really love it. Similar with the green. Both also felt underseasoned. The brown one I liked and would order again, although I've also had better brown mole elsewhere. For each of the enchiladas I got carne asada. It wasn't very good. Very small bites of meat, somewhat dried out, no intramuscular fat, probably a very cheap cut of meat. The rice really stood out as excellent to me though. Nice individual grains, nicely seasoned, good amount of bite to it, very well done. I also got two tacos: one chorizo and one carnitas. The tacos themselves were pretty good. Seemed pretty fresh and stuff. Which is possibly the most important part of a taco to me, so yeah, that was pretty solid. Each of the meats were a little dry though. It also could have used some sauce. For desert I got a caramel churro. It wasn't good. It kinda just tasted like a homogeneous, overly starchy, bland thing. A little oily too. The brown mole was good and so was the rice, so I think I'd stop by to order that again if I were in the area. With carnitas as my meat; it was better than the carne asada. I wouldn't get the asada again.

Food, presentation (dine-in), and value were all great. Based off what I've heard I already had high expectations going in and they exceeded them. I got the Tres Moles Enchiladas, normally not a fan of mole but they all had unique flavor complimenting the rest of the dish instead of being too overpowering. Was nice being able to get in for dine-in and eat next door at Baerlic.

Blew me away! I love this food cart pod already but I wanted to try something new and I will be back! My partner got a burrito and I got the taco plate with carnitas and portobello. Incredible! Love the colorful plates too and the salsas were spicy but not too spicy. Perfect amount of kick.

This place is absolutely excellent... A super large menu for a food truck which is nice. Your order is served on a beautiful colorful real plate. There is a heated seating area that is shared with two other food trucks. Food came out pretty fast, even though there was a line. I had the Carnitas tacos and guacamole. Great portions and super yummy. I will be back !

Read about Mole Mole Mexican Cuisine, a small, family run food cart that specializes in mole. They're located in the same food pod as Maillard and International Cheesecake. We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (1:30pm). Not sure why the first tip option is 15% when there's no service. Busk your own table. Seating is all outdoors, picnic table style but there are heat warmers to keep you warm(ish). Menu had about half a dozen items. - Three moles enchiladas ($13.00 USD) - dark mole, mole verde and mole rosa. Beautiful presentation and plating. Each mole was unique but my favourite was the verde. The pico de gallo was light and refreshing. - Cochinita pibil ($11.00 USD plate) - generous portion of roasted pork but a touch dry. The pickled red onion added some acidity to the plate. Enjoyable meal at MMMC.
